Today I saw a commercial on TV for CarSponsors.com. I thought it was an easy way to make money by putting stickers on your car like I've seen in news stories (college kids wearing t-shirts for $500/month). Had the gf's computer infront of me, so I loaded it up real fast since I could use some money. Doesn't hurt, right? I'm mostly writing this as a way to avoid clever scams on the internet. If it sounds too good to be true, there's something hidden. Either a lot of work (ie: sales and promotions(Insurance/Make-up Business Models) or they're trying to pull a fast one. A quick Google and looking at hits with words like "scam" or "reporting to BBB" is a red flag. The clever part about this site is that they hide stuff by not following standard conventions. You're usually required to check a box stating that you read a series of terms and conditions as well as verifying your age when sending credit card information. Conditions and policies are usually linked as such instead of hiding it behind an inconspicuous, grey on black link. The fact that you're going to be charged money is explicitly stated as opposed to insinuating that you'll only be charged if a certain, later condition is met...
