Our Code of Conduct dictates how LaG members and those associated with our organization are expected to conduct themselves at all times. Failure to follow this Code of Conduct constitutes whatever punishment (if any) leadership deems representative of the offense.
General Member Behavior
- A member should regard their actions as representative of the organization. Disregard to the value of the organization is unacceptable and will be punished.
- No member under any circumstance should display racial, sexual, religious or any other discriminatory prejudices.
- No member should ever display abusive dialogue while chatting or during game play.
- No member should abuse their status as a member, whether in games or elsewhere.
- No member should pose as a position within the organization that they do not hold.
- No member should verbally or otherwise attack another member under any circumstance.
- Members should always note and respect rank within the organization.
- Members are expected to contact their leaders if they will not be present for an extended amount of time.
In-Game Behavior
- Taunting is unbecoming, represent the organization with honor or don't represent it at all.
- No member should use a cheat, or tool that can be misconstrued as a cheat. If you aren't sure whether the tool qualifies as a cheat, don't use it.
- Flooding, hacking or dDOSing of a server, IRC channel or member's machine/connection will not be permitted under any circumstances.
- Taking advantage of bugs and/or cheap play will not be permitted outside of 'for fun' and/or inter-organizational games.
- Generally accepted ladder rules are the rules we adopt for competition in both scrimmages and among each other. Know them and follow them. Also note the differences between ladders, leagues and tournaments and their rule structure. It is a member's sole responsibility to know and follow all rules during an event or competition.
- Unsportsmanlike and unprofessional attitude in a competition or event can and will result in being kicked from a team and in extreme cases the organization in general.
- Dissention will not be tolerated. If you disagree with your leader's decision take it up with them after the event and in private. Never question a leader's authority during a competition or public forum.
