Since rejoining the 2v2 ladder in January, LaG has suffered only one
loss. That loss came at the hands of Omega 6. During that match we were
actually up, winning the first map and having them on the ropes 2-1 in
the second map. We failed to put them away. Last night was our
opportunity at revenge. |

With our last two victories, first on Sunday night and then again last
night, LaG's RvS division has topped 100 wins. Our combined record
since our split from CqS back in October of 2003 is 101-108. While that
may look mediocre, one must look at the complete transition that has
taken place in just the last 7 months. In August of 2004 we decided to
take a short break from laddering due to roster issues and availability
issues. Since rejoining the ladders in September our squad has posted
38 wins and 24 losses, much improved from our previous 63 wins and 84
losses record. LaG members have registered a total of 5151 confirmed
kills since October 2003. After a tough loss last Friday, the 4v4 team
has slipped to #4 on the ladder, while our 2v2 team will compete for
the Athena Sword #1 rung next Tuesday night, and slaughtered Team North
America last night to defend their #1 rung on the Raven Shield 2v2
Ladder. With our cards played right, you could very well see LaG
holding #1 rungs in all three ladders within the next week or two. |

Home Brew just recently declined to number 2 from the number one rung
on the TWL 4v4 ladder. Their first match since falling was against us.
Upon joining their server we began fooling around a bit and were
intimidated by their leet use of pistols. Maybe it was that
intimidation which spurred us to play harder and eventually led to our
defeating them and moving to the #2 rung on the TWL 4v4 ladder. |
