LaG faced AoA in our first League Match for Team Warfare today. We
played very well together, considering the team has only been in
existence for a week and a half. I was a little worried going into the
match because we've not had even a formal scrimmage yet, but the team
stepped up to the challenge and came through. |

It was only a matter of time before Alpha would be ready once again for
ladder play. With everyone's hard work and a few key server donations,
Alpha is ready to go for #1 on provinggrounds.com's CTF Team ladder. It
will take plenty of work and everyone's cooperation, but if this team
puts forth the effort that surpasses "old sk00l" Alpha, there will be
nothing that can stop us! |

Activity in LaG's CTF team, Alpha is picking up! I know a lot of
members are interested in playing CTF on the various UT ladders, but
the membership in Alpha is a relatively small percentage of this clan.
Any LaG member who is interested in regular weapon CTF, regardless if
they are an instagib, counter-strike, or TDM player on their respective
team can tryout for Alpha. Alpha practices on Sundays, at 4:00 PM EST.
Be sure to show up if you're interested! |

After scheduling and planning this match for nearly a week, Alpha
finally played against MassHoleZ on Wendesday, March 26th 2003 at
9:00PM EST.
Following is all I could gather from the match while watching from our
match channel, #LaG.Match and watching our reporter bot do it's thing.
First off, the match was for position on the Proving Grounds 3v3 CTF
ladder. If you are concerned enough to run out to the ladder to check
which position we were playing for, you won't find Alpha on that ladder
any more. More on that later, as I try to be a good content provider
and avoid too many personal opinions, although I'm sure some will seep
in given my current irked state with the following situation. |

Tonight LaG played BBH for position on the Proving Grounds 3v3 Unreal Tournament CTF ladder.
The match was broadcast in #LaG.Match (as most of our matches are) and
was a LOT of fun to watch. Speaking from someone who only got to watch
the match I can give the following report.
On Face, LaG was in control much of the time with BBH reeling
from the superior sniping abilities of I2ed3ye. We've all experienced
the pain of I2ed's sniper rifle BBH and we're truly sorry you had to go
through that. Kinda makes you feel like you were born with a freakish
bulls-eye birthmark on your forehead, dun' it?
