Our first SWAT 4 match was last night and what a circus it turned out
to be. Because it was our first match I took extra steps to ensure I
was well aware of all the rules and server settings and what not so
there would be no problems during the match. Several days before the
match I asked for a clarification on the rules, specifically that we
play 10 rounds - 5 as SWAT and 5 as Suspects. The response I got from
the Admins was no, that we should play the best of 5 rounds and the
best of 3 maps. Armed with my confidence that I knew what was going on,
we proceeded to start the match. As an extra precaution, to make sure
the other team knew about the rule change, I asked them just before the
match if they knew the format was best of 5 and best of 3. They
acknowledged with a "yes". Sure enough... there was trouble in the
future. |
