LaG and Friends Twitter

Everyone who is part of LaG, has ever been a part of LaG or just loves LaG in a friendly sort of way... I'm starting something new to provide a more social feel to LaG and those awesome people who make it great. Twitter!

As some of you may know I've used Twitter for quite some time on my personal blog. So I thought it would be an AWESOME idea if we had a bunch of LaG folks who made up a gaming / LaG stream of internet consciousness. This thing will be amazing if we all participate, so everyone needs to step up. The stream will not be restricted, but I ask that everyone keep it PG... beyond that talk about whatever!

If you already use Twitter
Post your ID here (a suggestion, make one for your gaming persona instead of using your personal one where you post family updates, for instance the one I'll use to post to LaG is S3VYN) and I'll set up the laggaming feed to follow you. The laggaming feed will not be posted to unless there is a clan-wide notification to be made. So following that feed WILL NOT GET YOU SPAMMED. So follow in good faith that only I can post something there and I'm only going to post it if absolutely necessary.

If you don't know what Twitter is
Where the heck have you been? Twitter is what is now being called a "micro-blog." Basically, it allows you to make posts 140 characters at a time. It's specifically designed for you to answer the question "What are you doing?" many times during the day. Because of the character limit, it's PERFECT for posting via text messages from your cell phone, via e-mail, via one of a hundred web / desktop / phone clients and a myriad of other ways (such as instant messages). Once you're signed up, you can follow friends and get notified whenever they post just as they'll be notified when you post. The really, really cool thing is that you honestly get to know your friends SO much better by knowing what they're doing / thinking from day to day.

Help
Q: How do I follow someone?
A: Twitter accepts commands, much like IRC or an in-game chat application like the one found in WoW (and other games, I'm sure). So the easiest way to follow someone is just to send Twitter "follow [theirname]" (without the square brackets and replace theirname with whatever username they posted here).

Q: I want to post a URL but it takes too many characters, what to do?
A: If you're using the web client it will automatically shorten the URL for you. To do it manually, head over to http://www.tinyurl.com and just go from there.

You are both added, thanks for signing up! Now just keep updating your profile. Once we get enough tweets on the account I'm going to add the feed to the front page of the site so you can get a live feed of what everyone is up to. It'll be like a shoutbox except WAY cooler because people will be posting to it all the time, no matter if they're at their computer or not!

For everyone else, PLEASE GET INVOLVED WITH THIS. This is a community and everyone needs to participate in order for things to work. The more you put in the more you get out!

Stalkers!! Anyways uhm I may not be able to participate in the lovely activities of the celebration which so far I've been told is on November the 15th. because well November th 14th I'm suppose to have surgery on my hand and I can't type that well with only one hand so ya I probably won't be on during that time.
