I was looking over your current Druid templates and thought you guys might like some input on the hybrid template from a former Lag Druid.

Druid hybrids that put half their talent points in healing usually can't even do moderate damage unless they wear all dps gear and then they're still gimped because they can't heal .  If hybrids are gimped either way they might as well go all the way up the healing tree and use the remaining talent points to get as much dps as possible.  When I was with LaG on Burning Blade I respeced many times.  The spec I ended up with was http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=zzZxt0scZxecoeq0o
This spec allows Druids to heal almost as well as specing full resto and focuses the rest of your talent points on feral damage.  This spec also lets a druid hold aggro as an offtank if needed.  Believe it or not I chose this spec for pvp as well as pve.  To be a good edition to a raid you have to have one main skill.   If its not healing as a druid you might as well go all the way feral or balance because halfway just doesn't cut it when the meters (damage, healing, & overhealing) come out.

If that build just doesn't do enough damage for you, you can go with a build that uses Heart of the Wild, Tranquil Spirit, and Reflection.  I made something up really fast as an example http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=MZtxMscMdxxgc0xo (I've never actually made this build.  It pisses me off not having a 31 point talent)
The adventage of this build is that you have mana from the feral tree and mana regeneration and lowered healing costs from the resto tree.  Most Druids that I've seen with this build dress more like a healer even in pvp despite having  mostly feral talents.

When I was with Lag the only Druid template on the Lag site was of a full resto and I've been waiting to put my two cents in ever since.  These are just my suggestions, I figured they might help.

To be a good edition [sic] to a raid you have to have one main skill.   If its not healing as a druid you might as well go all the way feral or balance because halfway just doesn't cut it when the meters (damage, healing, & overhealing) come out.

I am a firm believer in this doctrine, which is why my build (11/33/7 http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=zzLV0oZxxxscMdtV0b) is specced for maximum tanking.  I'm not an MT, but I've offtanked several boss encounters in MC and AQ20, and I have yet to die as a designated OT.  It's a widely held misconception that druids take a long time to build aggro.  The truth is that, with this build, I can generate threat just as fast as a warrior, if not faster.  I can't tell you how many times I've gotten a comment after tanking an instance that it's practically impossible to steal aggro from me.

The spec alone doesn't make you a tank, you still need the gear for it.  I still bring a healing set of gear with me so that I can heal when needed, but I help out the raid by a. providing more DPS to melees with +3% crit to the group, and b. allowing the raid leader to designate more warriors for DPS because the bear can tank.  Warriors should really be DPSing once they get epic weapons.

I have a couple of folks who'd love to try and steal aggro from you... mwuahahahahahahaha

if not faster

Druids do generate threat faster which is why some guilds use druids as their first tank in the vael fight (sunder armor doesn't scale with gear besides 8/8 might, so druids with high crit will actually help their aggro generation, something that warriors have a difficult time doing).

As far as having a druid with 31 points into feral...I call being in your group!
