i finally think ive found the perfect PvE druid healing spec... its taken me upwards of 250g, and 35days played... but i think i have it!!!!!!

24balance/0feral/27resto\

balance i took omen of clarity, moonglow, and the talent that gives you 0.5sec off the casting time after a spell crit...

omen of clarity - 10% (i think) chance of a free spell after a melee hit.. as long as the monster has no aoe or thorns type thing... this is a completely harmless way of getting free max rank healing touches, or regrowths. put on Will of Arlokk with +20spi when your mana is low-ish, go melee and you get unbroken regen (the omen of clarity spell doesnt break 5second rule!!), this is especially useful on huhuran, and cutting edge fights where your innervate really needs to be given to a priest, who'll get better use from it cause of spirit

moonglow- 9% reduced cost of major spells. this is without comparison, it lets you heal 1/10th longer than you otherwise would... this is a fight winning talent.

0feral... this means you cant really hunt solo, you CAN get by if you have a ZHC for nuke-age every 2mins... but its nothing like a group. you sacrifice your solo/farming ability to be a solid anchor to the raid

27resto

5/5imp motw, 0.5sec reduced HT casting time, 3/3 im the talent that allows 15% mana regen while casting, 8% reduced threat, 3/5 in the talent that stops you being interrupted while healing, NS, 5/5 in the one that reduces healing spells mana cost, insect swarm, 2/5 in the +healing effectiveness.

15% regen while casting, combined with the stormrage 3piece bonus gives you a HUGE use for all that spirit that comes on your armour... i wear jindo's hammer with +55 healing, and the AV offhand, and change out to will of arlokk with +20 spirit for regen, and innervating myself.

overall you get

-19% healing spell cost (rank 5 is only 220 mana, for 1200 heals, non-crit)
+4% base healing effectiveness (not huge, but still valuable)
48% chance 2 not have your healing interrupted (ever taken some damage, and not got that heal off in time? this fixes that)

im writing this at school, ill make a talent build, check names, and actual percentages, and link it off this post once i get home.

PS-salamander scale leggings are far better cenarion, and slightly better than stormrage! take them if you can

Yeah balance/resto is the best healing spec if you have the gear for it.

If you hit raid mobs in melee for OOC procs, you'll learn pretty quickly that there's a reason besides pulling aggro that rogues die so much in raids  Tongue

Here's the big question: is OOC procs per minute or chance on hit?

If you're serious about being the best healer you can, also check out http://www.thottbot.com/?i=53187 from the lvl 50 druid chest, one of the best healing chests imo.

Believe it or not, I skipped cenarion for zandalar, but that was for personal FU reasons (I went from zandalar to stormrage, there was a lot of drama about me not taking T1 that ended with some other druids not wearing ANY chest piece at all while raiding in a show of support).  Pick up a second piece of the set (like if you ding exalted, get that hot moonkin neck) and the mp5 bonus makes is better than cenarion, IMO.

Go rock it out, it's fun to do algebra.

i NEVER wanna hear its fun to do algebra again.....The goes against my god, and my god is a god of smiting and vengeance.  He will come for you in the form of a jackaboo if you do too much algebra.  How does that sound Diomedeis?  Does the fear overwhelm you?  Do you still want to do Algebra?  Do Differential Equations instead.  I know what your thinking and if you think back to the time we got Haloman to retaliate in Scholo, you will realize that has nothing to do with this. Shocked
