Hello all you LaGgers  I was surprised to not see any 2k7 thread  LaG for me started when it mostly only played Unreal Tournament 99, it's first multi-player version. and I was wondering if any of you, (especially the ones who played UT back in the day) had any intentions of even purchasing the game. I remember me and clip not liking 2gay3 when it first came out, but after getting tired of UT99 and Q3 I eventually gave 2k4 a really good try, and tbh, I liked it. I've played it for a while and I could totally get back into team playing. Maybe when 2k7 comes around, enough of us will buy it to give LaG a kick-start to the UT division that is no more. If any of you intend to give 2k7 or even 2k4 a try, give us a shout  |

I did not know there was a UT99! I remember the UT2004 days those were fun. But I am going to wait til UT2007 to come out. There has not been much being reported on because it keeps getting pushed back. But waiting for some UT2007 updates would be nice.

This wasnt even a decision to buy it or not. It has the words UT infront of it and so it has been demanded by the gods upon high, i will purchase this game !!

Lol Deli. Excellent. Then that means at least 3 oldschool LaG members will give 2k7 a go! We'll all need to have a sweet gfx card and a damn decent pc to run it though LaG ftw! |

Yeah, I've already started planning for my next video card. We'll see how long it takes to become a reality... Of course I could use a processor upgrade too... and RAM... and... meh... that's why I never get anything new!

well I am looking at doing a major over haul on my pc when its done this is what i plan to have
2.0 duel core processor if not 2.2
2gig ram
atleast a ati X1600Pro grahpics
hope all this will be good enough. I really want to get in with you all on this sonce UT was old news when i showed up

well i did some homework on the spec reqs after i read your post Wid and the only thing i found that had any indecation of spec reqs was back in early 2006 and then it was like a 9800 atleast but it was not completly confirmed

BTW - Nvidia has already released the first DX10 card so by the time this comes out I'd imagine they'd be reasonably priced.

I was doing so research on UT2007 there is no confirm release date or system requirements. But from my understanding since that Crysis and Huxley are coming out early 2007 they are recommending DirectX 10 cards for systems to run smoohtly. But once again nothing is fully confirmed.

Yeah, early 2007 is all I keep hearing as well I figured that the reqs for Gears of War would be somewhat similar however, since Gears uses the new Unreal 3 engine. That could be a terrible assumption on my part, so I'm waiting to hear something more official from them on the matter. |

What has happened to us all? We used to be big badass gun-totin' mofos, killing people just for the smell of burning flesh! Now we cast spells and "work the market" to make gold. Sad times; the only solution is a little UT reunion, and maybe some UT 2007 adventures when that comes out |
