http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1592614,00.html?cnn=yesI considered posting this on the LaG news page... but really political news tends to be a bit outside of the attention I'd want to get there. But it's still discussion worthy.
Whether you're Republic, Democrat or any of the independent parties you have GOT to find this show fun. These two are going to end up fighting on stage at a debate! It'd rock, in my opinion, and would make for the most (read: only) memorable debate between two candidates in history (that wasn't on SNL).
Enjoy!
Yeah, I read that earlier after watching the Obama's whole, "I don't see a reason to apologize" speech (which... to be honest... I sort of agree with).
It's not that I hate Hillary (although she does rub me the wrong way... and those of you on the LaG boards who are concerned with your rights and the future of the ESRB (not to mention your rights to purchase violent video games) should note the sorts of horrible "parenting" she'd like to see the government do) but she represents a lot of my gripes about the Democratic party (unlike her husband who I have a great deal of respect for).
Obama, on the other hand, I think is an incredible candidate, but given his newness, there's a lot of negative things he might do that we just haven't seen yet

He's got that "Mr Smith goes to washington but with a better eduction" vibe IMHO
I just hope it doesn't get too ugly. I'd like to see the nation pull away from polarizing politics, but I'm just not sure it's going to happen any time soon.
