i guess you would realize that i like to argue and do it often, but its not that i dont care to be a part of them, when i was a part of lag i had everything i wanted besides raiding i dont know enough of the people in the other guilds to get a feel for how i would fit in but i will at least be raiding and hopefully since my friends are pretty spread out throughout different guilds ill be able to play with some and make new ones i also hope im not completely excommunicated from LaG as i enjoy a lot of the people that are part of it

@Rip - Good luck in your future endeavors.  Remember that you're asking the guild for help every single time you go on a raid or ask to raid more.  So don't cite "no incentive" as a reason not to help a guildy with a tough task when you have nothing else going on.  When I said I had "no incentive" to include you on raids I wasn't kidding, turnabout is fair play and there's always someone smarter, better and more in control than you.  Submission in the interest of advancement, even to your immediate discontent, can be the most powerful tool in your arsenal when used appropriately and with measure.

@Jopan, good stuff... Very, very clever.

I enjoy a good discussion surrounding semantics as anyone, but starting an argument with someone over semantics when that person has no interest in the discussion is irritating.  Continuing the discussion even after they have asked you to cease it only makes matters worse.  That is what I was referring to.

well jagor the time i remember you getting the most angry i was running mechanar and refused to leave to help someone do BM after running said guildy thru SV to get his key piece maybe an hour or two ago as it turns out the run didnt materialize anyway but the damage seemed to have been done, just because i dont help people when you are on at the same time I am which is few and far between doesnt mean i dont at all, i have interests in the game i would like to persue as well. And i refused to submit to something as stupid as that especially since it really didnt make a difference to anybody but you and as a result me. It seems that it doesnt matter why i couldnt attend sunday you have a zero tolerance policy which seems to work really well, i just saw a kind of documentary on it recently of course it was in black and white and they were speaking german but i got the general idea pretty well (courtesy of george carlin), its rediculous if people can't be flexible

Rip, you're missing the point.  What has Jagor upset is that you went on this speech about hating ineptitude and incentive when the Black Morass run was being attempted.  I don't really go out of my way to help everyone but I don't fag out over it and start name dropping philosophers.  Finally, did you just compare our guild to the Nazi's?  I hate to say it Rip, but when you do that it just shows some pretty brazen ignorance.  The Nazi's worked to long and to hard to be the most reviled people ever.  Don't just GIVE that to Jagor.  Atleast make him attempt to exterminate a race first.

Incentive....  Is that a polite way of saying loot whore?  Im just curious since I wasn't there for whatever discussion had taken place.


Why can't people just play the game with friends and have fun?  Its not like instances are going anywhere, and the drops all dry up, it will be there when its time for people to do those instances.  What does one do after they got everything they ever wanted in the game?  Retire? Sell? Or then start playing the game with their "friends", being Godly taking on the lesser mobs?  I know it isn't cheating for if it can be done, its allowed, but...  Isn't that just about the same thing tho?  I can play a game, load up the cheats and trainers, get health out the ying yang, gear of the Gods, and be able to totally smoke anything that comes near, but am I having fun without the possibly of getting my ass handed to me?  Anyways...  You (whoever)  have to always ask yourself what it is you want with the game, wether its to "win" (which we all know how that goes), or play with friends.  Personally, I would rather wait, and get the gear I want when everyone else is doing the same, so we can advance together, get stronger together, appreciate working with friends, instead of being with strangers, who Im sure become very happy for you when you take something they want for themselves.  I guess its more of a choice of getting meaningful or meaningless "gratz", and we both know which you get from friends.

All I can add I guess is that thank God for the expansion, just gives more eye candy for the greedy.

Ahhhh...  I made 1 character, I leveled him to 60, I never had a need for a 2nd character for I was having fun with my 1st so I saw no need.  Maybe instead of wondering why things are boring, you need to ask yourself what will make the game more fun...  FRIENDS do the trick for me every time.

Zero tolerance?  Your two cohorts that I also kicked apologized and were back in the guild within 5 minutes.  But you MUST be right, everyone else MUST be wrong because it couldn't possibly be that you're wrong.  That's just not possible!

Look Rip, you joined LaG, we didn't join you.  We have rules and you were free to leave if you didn't like them.  ALL of us are working together to accomplish a goal that YOU said you wanted to accomplish.  But YOU were working AGAINST that goal!  So face it, you were part of the problem, not the solution and as such you were removed.  The fact that you said the reasons were stupid and said that you thought it was "funny" made our decision to make your removal permanent.  For your information, your removal WAS put to a vote and the vote was unanimous.

Perhaps to put it in language you claim  you can understand...

You provided an amount of incentive towards your removal that outweighed any incentive we had to retain you.

i like the name loot whore being tossed around i really dont care if i  get excellent gear extremely fast i want to earn it by running these instances i like to raid not sure why you have a problem with that im kind of bored with the rest of the game having run 5 mans and done quests for >3 days played time at 70 i want the opportunity to be exposed to new places and eventually earn gear, i dont demand it unconditionally and for where i'm  going you have to earn it otherwise you simply dont come if you dont push your weight around and more. the reason i thought it was funny was that it was for a completely stupid point, you told us that we "destroyed any hope of a run for Sunday" when i told you that i can never make it on sunday raids anyway you didnt seem to care THAT is what i thought extremely funny when someone doesnt listen to reason. i havent been working against the guild i've been all about having fun maybe my idea of fun is slightly different than yours, i do enjoy hanging out with friends but that comes to a point i would enjoy hanging out with friends in an instance rather than just through a chat channel

I've explained to you before that as the leader of the guild, leader of the clan and owner of these sites I don't have to argue with you about anything.  And I don't.  If you create another thread about this subject I will ban you from the forums.
