Well the newest character reported for SSBB and the one that got me excited enough to make a topic is...

Ash Catch'Em?  Does that mean pokeballs won't be a pick-up weapon anymore?

Pokeballs were the biggest variable and often unbalanced factor in ssb melee (imo).  I often turned them off when I got really competitive with my friends just because leaving them in devolved into a race to catch them on the off chance that you'd nab an "I win" pokemon.  I hope that they find a better balance between ridiculously good-mon and useless-mon in SSBB.

The only good one I remember was when a boulder came down on half the battlefield.  Would be nice if they did more random things.  Like each pokemon having the choice of doing all the moves they're known for.   Healing, freezing, reflecting, blasting, flying, etc.  More helpful things than offensively limited.  You saw the pokemon, you knew what it did and got away from it.  My friends and I turned off powerups and stuff when we played 1-on-1.  But the chaos of everything going across the screen in four-player free-for-alls was always more fun to me.

Ahhh!  Bat in the back of the head!

As much as I want to see a tag team of repressed of love, no.  King Dedede is in it though so you can live out your Meta Knight/Dedede Yaoi fan fiction you wrote back in the Kirby: Right Back At Ya! heyday.
