Folks,
Just wanted to give you a heads' up that we're getting pretty close to releasing the Unreal Tournament 3 Beta Demo for Windows. The Beta Demo will allow instant action play against bots as well as online multiplayer. The purpose of the Beta Demo is to test the game on a large variety of hardware configurations and get gameplay feedback from the community. The development team feels they're pretty close to being ready to release this so it could come out this week but for safety sake I'd say it should be out within two weeks.
We have a few fan sites in tomorrow to play the full game and I'm sure they'll be sharing their comments pretty soon afterward. Posted on the 8th. http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=578203 |

yea i got my demo installed last night and just for S!@# and giggles i tried to play it lol i think i about killed my pc trying to just load up the game so atm its a no go but soon very soon i will be pwning nubs i hope lmao

Game ran fine on my PC minus the Direct X 10 since i still run XP / To be honest without DX10 it doesn't look all that great and i couldn't play it on a regular basis like that. Guess i need to go by a DX10 card and vista now...
From the demo though the game will be amazing..

well it is the demo and all the textures are not there i am sure so you never know the the graphics should be better with the actual game so i would hold off imo at least for the moment
