I thought everyone did very well. I also think the chnages we made having the melee dps stay in instead of run out every 30 secs helped us to get that last 8% we missed him by last time. O and props to the shammies who where healing the Melee DPS never dropped below 5k

Void Reaver has been killed within 53 seconds by using a priests mind-controll ability on a Tempest-Smith. See the original post for more details, and a blue answered to a wor thread.

This topic is the result of a known issue in the game mechanics.
Use of this issue in this fashion is considered an exploit and I strongly discourage you from using it in order to avoid any repercussions on your account.
Rest assured that issues such as this will be resolved in order to remove the temptation.

A shadowpriest who never has seen Void Reaver before tried to mind-controll a Tempest-Smith. And it works... The smithes have an ability throwing a bomb with global cooldown and does masses of damage. I think about 30-50k DPS!!!

I don´t know the exact name of taht ability but I think it´s "Fragmentation Bomb". Haven´t asked the Priest about that.

Sorry  I was the guy Holy Firing in the Back.  I would like to take this time though to make sure that all the healers that attend VR take a DPS set with them.  This is a lite Healing night the adds are tougher to heal than the boss... we shouldn't be taking more than 6 healers and even then 1 will be dpsing like a madman on the boss preferable one priest becuase in VR Shammies pimp it healing-wise.  Thats right...I tossed renews and spammed smite SW:P  and mindblast!  I know we have healers that have better dps sets than me.  Anyway, I just wanted to address this.  Healers bring a DPS set next time for VR ....Just in case!!!!

With the changes in v2.3, Shaman will be able to put out a decent amount of Lightning damage while resto and wearing healing gear.

yar we downed him for the first time in Malevolence about 4 weeks ago, melee staying in helps, as does everyone not snowballing (running in circles around him) instead ranged moves forwards and backwards (no snowballs!) got both him and gruul in the same night this past week, 4 weeks of downing him and no warrior T5 shoulders, we're jinxxed *cries*

We tried the "melee step out" version, usually ended up with melee drawing arcane balls. melee staying in = a fury warrior tank around 40% even with me just auto attacking until 85%, funny stuff ^_^, i get salv and a soulstone
