Must still not be working right.  Name Violation has done everything we have + Mag + almost all of SSC.

Seriously, don't be too proud about this guys.  If anything we're doing good in a war of attrition, not progression.

There are many ways to measure a guild. progression is only one. We have been number one in my eyes for a long time.

Yeah, I think wowjutsu takes into consideration the length of the active guild. Because Shaman Trainer has pretty much died out but the guild still lives on. So wowjutsu is registering them as number one based on their past success. LaG is registered number 2 because we have been around longer then Name Violation; however, Name Violation has further progression than us.

Does this mean we should be celebrating?

Yes and No.

No. Because it like dodge ball; all the other players are picked and done with. So wowjutsu just picked the last guy available.

Yes. Because this vindicates our motto of a gaming community. We have proven that through the drama, through the BS, through "guild breaker" instances (remember beginning kara?) that LaG has stood the test of time and that we can continue.

In its FAQ, it says it only ranks guilds based on loot received.  When a boss drops an item and someone equips it, wowjutsu finds it in the wowarmory and adds points to your guild's score if it came from a boss it didn't know you downed.  It also says it gives 1/1000th of the points you get for a boss for each item you get from one.  You get enough gear and you killed an extra boss in the game, sort of.  Also, points don't transfer to other guilds.  So if Guild A disbanded and Guild B disbanded and formed Guild C, they'd technically have a score of 0.  Unless they equiipped new gear that wowjutsu hadn't seen in the armory before.  Like Trial-Fire Leggings you've been saving to equip with epic gems or something.  Until they get brand new loot off of bosses or progress.

LaG has retained our players who have participated in our boss fights.  We have very little turnover and maintain a steady progression rate rather than a sprint to the latest thing.  That is what is now being rewarded, which I think is appropriate.

Either way, we're the best guild on the server, regardless of loot or boss kills, which are nothing more than an excuse for us to play a game with people we like, which is our primary focus.

W00T us!
