I can't believe there's no talk of football on here! How about we start with the SEC going 6-2, soon to be 7-2? (What happened Florida?!?)

Oh, and Arkansas doesn't count. They were over-matched from the start and didn't have a chance. 7-2 ain't bad, though. Would have been nice to see 8-1.

I can't blame anything for the florida loss except that Michigan wanted it more. I am no longer making excuses for the young team....they have had their baptism in fire. I do, however, think that the month off is retarded...there needs to be a playoff system. Only a handful of games have been worth watching this year. I have turned off the games a few times, and I love college football. To me, the season ended when LSU beat UT in the SEC Champ game.

UF vs UM has been one of the best games this bowl season, despite the outcome.

It was a pretty good game... I was happy with Auburn's new offense once Kodi Burns got in the game too. Brandon Cox WAS the problem all along... who knew!???

The Weasel informed me of this situation weekly. Anyway, think how cool it would have been to see a playoff system like every other sport.

That would have been an awsome game. I was a big wvu hater until I saw how their defense played the other day. I hate the bcs so much.

If it in anyway devalued a single game in the regular season, I'd rather suffer through the BS, I mean BCS.... Watching the NFL teams sit their starters the last one or two games of the season is pathetic.

The AP Pollsters need to be taken out back and beaten by a 2x4 that has rusty nails hammered through it.
Honestly, WHO THE HELL GAVE KANSAS A FIRST PLACE VOTE IN THE FINAL POLLS?

A USC fan? I can't believe there's any question in anyone's mind that LSU (or Georgia) would beat ANY TEAM THEY PLAYED RIGHT NOW. I guess having a strong schedule really does prepare you for "the big game."

I really want to see an SEC vs. SEC national championship game (if it's deserved, of course)... and we'll never see that with the BCS.
Everyone says LSU has an undisputed national championship this year. Erm. Wait. The people saying that are the same AP pollsters that GAVE KANSAS A FIRST PLACE VOTE! This national championship is just as disputed as the last one they won! LSU didn't even play the 2 best teams in the country, and when every team in the Top 10 has 2 or more losses (Kansas doesn't count, ignore their #7 "ranking") I'd say that's a pretty even playing field. You could make a valid argument that any of the Top 6 in the final polls, OSU aside, are the best team in the country. Talk about a split national championship! You've got a 5-way tie here! LSU, USC, UGA, WVU, and MU (okay, MU is a stretch due to strength of schedule and losing twice to the same team).
Anyways, I'm ranting now. Is it August 30th yet?

As long as I never have to sit through another boring bowl season again. I would be happy with an 8 team playoff at this point. I still think they should have these other bowl games since thats what the presidents of the school want...but why not have the playoffs tied into the bcs.

I find something odd...
In the final rankings Auburn is ranked below Florida... Yet they are BOTH 4 loss teams and Auburn beat Florida...
I know it's not that important, really, but I just find it odd how the rankings seem to pan out.

Are you talking about the final rankings of this season or the preseason rankings of next season?
