Hey guys. I wanted your opinions. I've found myself missing something when I visit my clan website - there's our acronym, but our name isn't there. I know it's a small detail, and some people might say "same difference", but I differ. I think it would be great to have it say Livid and Gifted, maybe in smaller text, next to our logo. LaG - Livid and Gifted.

I dunno it just makes sense to me I also think it would look nice. S3 chose a great name when creating this clan, I honestly haven't seen a better name for a clan yet, but maybe that's because I love LaG so much. Anyways - let me know what you guys think. Add our name, Livid and Gifted - or leave it saying just LAG ?

I agree, people who come by notice the LaG title, and i believe its what you guys go by on WoW, but on the website it needs the Clan name up there ^_^

I may be oblivious to actuality, but I have not heard many refer to LaG as Livid and Gifted since a misfortune settled many moons ago.  I have no preferred preference on either name.  However, I have noticed many officer types refer to the clan as lag as opposed to Livid and Gifted.  In the end it really doesn't matter to me because I have fond memories from both heights of the preferred name!  Long Live the Clan!

People refer to it as LAG because that's a just a easier way to say it like NFL or DOA. We are Livid And Gifted we also just have a cool acronym

IMO - LaG wouldnt exist without Livid and Gifted. That's pretty much where LaG, the acronym stems from. Back in the UT99 days (LaGs first competitive game), 3 letter acronyms that represented your clan name was the way to go. Donnie (S3/Jagor) created Livid and Gifted - LaG. In-game, we'd have LaG| in front of our names, as other clans would have their acronyms in front of theirs.

So for those of you who don't know what LaG means, it's Livid and Gifted. lol 


So wait a minute - some people thought the clan's name was just LAG ?!?! as in we made the term lag cool and we have it as our clan name?

"So im in this clan, LAG."
"LAG?"
"Yeah LAG, like when your modem sucks and your ping is 500?"
"Oh"

as opposed to:

"So im in this clan, LaG."
"LAG, as in your modem sucks and your ping is 500?"
"Nah man, LaG - Livid and Gifted."
"Oh."

 

Now I see an even bigger need to have our logo say Livid and Gifted. I didn't join a variant of latency, I joined Livid and Gifted damnit! Here here!

Don't forget the people that mocked us when they saw the acronym and called it FaG.
