Se7en recently invited me to join your clan's UT99 division. Its been a while since I've played in a clan, and even longer since I've played competitively, but I decided to give it a shot
I've talked to a few of you already in IRC and you all seem like a cool group, those of you I haven't met I'm looking forward to it.
Some history: About 7 years ago Unreal Tournament saved me from a very dangerous and damaging Everquest addiction. I started playing UT a lot online, and eventually found myself hanging out on irc.utchat a lot. I ended up joining a clan called Sentinel Eradicators of Doom [SeOD] and playing for them a while. It was fun, but just like thousands of clans before them, they met their demise due to internal strife. After that, I joined another, clan ULTimage [ULT] and stuck with them until nobody played anymore. Since then I've playing UT clanless for fun. However, a few days ago, I brought myself back to irc.utchat to do some research on UT99 clans that still exist, if there were any. I wanted to add them to a webpage I am working on dedicated to UT99. Se7en helped me out a lot, pointing me to the clan leaders, introducing me to the regulars. We ended up playing some deathmatch, and well, here I am.
Ok excuse the life story, but to make it simple, I'm Fingel, I play UT99 and I cant wait to kick some ass with you guys.
