BTW, the answer is Greater Heal.  It's supplemented by lower ranks of GH, Prayer of Mending, Renew, and very occasionally, PW:Shield.  No Flash Heal!  Flash Heal is basically the lazy man's crappy heal.  Use it when you don't care at all about losing mana or people dieing because of you.

Flash heal is great for Priests who want to be higher on the healing charts, and people still think you are doing a good Job   I think you should have a }and now you know" on the ill effects of focusing on charts instead of maximizing your class's potential.


Seriously though it is a good idea to down rank renews as well.  If you know how much damage on average a tank is taking in a specific area you can tailor that to which renew to use.  And for the love of God....if your a healing priest as of 2.4.....stack spirit!!!!!
