OK guys and gals. The best thing any of you can do , to keep up on events we are planning, or things needed, or anything at all, is...

come to the forums before you open WoW, then come again after you log out. Check them at least 2 times a day.

that's it, simple, yet so many in the past have been often seen scratching their heads when they should have known whats going on.

Another  helpful thing to do is , when we are  going somewhere  you haven't been to in a while, do some investigation on
your characters roll in the upcoming fights . Often someone will post a link to a strat we are going to use , but even if its not
posted, go look for yourself.
Thanks,  and WELCOME to all the new folks  Grin

to add to this, the site u almost always use is bosskillers.com. in addition please make sure your mods are up to date prior to raid invites. wow ace updater is a nice tool to use, and if its not there, hop on curse. also, for all new members please post on the access thread which is on this forum, secon post, and its sticky.

REQUIRED RAIDING MODS!!!!  bigwigs/deadly boss mods; omen threat meter; decursive and any other such class specific mods you may already have in place. also, ventrilo, even if you have no mike, listening is a must as this is how we communicate.

and, to officially say this to all whome busted their humps to get us new members...GREAT  JOB!!!! and to our new members, welcome to the family!

we dont expect e1 to be perfect 100% of the time, we just want to see new stuff, somw will be new to you and old hat for us, eventually it will be all new. please please please, know your role in the raid. the faster we learn each other, the faster we get the new folks caught up on gear, the faster we start back into ssc/tk and on to mh/bt.

i am a semi goal oriented person, so here is my long term goal for us (LaG) as i personally would like to see it. i would like to see us downing illidan and possibly hitting the 25 on the island by the time litch king hits, which ofc is an unknown. i believe this is super realistic for us, unless wrath by some retarded stretch of luck hits in like august... but the we all get to be on an even keel, lvling to 80 and starting anew so meh.

hugs, props, and welcomes to all!

Tips cont.

I have been in LaG for a little over 3 years. WE are more then a guild, family, Clan can best discribe us. We dont just play WoW together and log off. We e-mail, Chat, play other games with one another.  While you are with us, and i hope its for a long period of time, become part of the guild. Dont just show up for raids, dont just log on to do better for your self. Help someone else within the guild. It will only make the guild stronger.

Raids.
This is big for me. I have been playing wow sense bata along with Vertice. We have been in guilds that cleared Nax and all content prior to NaXX. We have also been in guilds that could barly clear MC.  The difference between guilds that clear these end of game content isnt the amount of time spent in there, but the prep time spent before.  If you know we are heading to a raid READ up on the bosses and the pulls prior to the raid. WoW Wiki, Boss Killers are both great sites to visit and learn the pulls and events.

Know your job.

Get with your class reps! They are there becuase that OUT DPS, OUT HEAL, OUT TANK anyone else in the guild, They are well rounded in the game  and know the ins and outs of their class. So if you find yourself running low on the meters figure out why and work towrd getting better by running heroics, buying pots, getting regents what ever it takes. Trust me in the long run the time spent will save you a bundle when it comes to repairs.

For all you new guys We are a family LaG is a family to me yes we fight, yes we argu BUT WHAT FAMILY DOESNT. at the end of the day we are here for each other and for each other.. Remembe that and your time with us will be fun.
