From what i've heard (I havent played it) It gets kinda repetitive and boring after lvl 40. But up til then its a pretty fun ride.

i have had a blast playing the game thus far.  the pve side is very similar to wow.  i have only been in two instanCes but it plays almost exaCtly like wow on the pve.  exCept you have 6-8 people in a group.  not sure how raids will work...still early for that.  the pvp has been a blast  beCause of the aCtive Combat system.  Can't auto attaCk. you swing and COmbo in direCtions and bloCking is direCtional too  its a lot like a Chess match if you both are around the same lvl. or however many people are fighting.  What i really want to try is the pvp siege battles.  basically every server has a giant keep that guilds can fight for control of.  then there are 3 battle keeps and 6 resource points.  and every guild fighting to control 1 or all of them.  you cancreate your own guild hall too.  its actual in game.  you can build structures and hire npcs to protect it from onslaught.  I am only 37 and i have a paper due this wensday so I know that i will not be making it to 40 until after then.  its not as polished as wow is but wow wasn't either in its infancy.  i know several  people that would love it, but the majority of wow players should just stay to wow.

LOL!  Have we been missed?  School's out, kids are home, work is picking up, yada yada yada.  I'm not impressed w/ AoC in the least... debating on whether or not I'm going to let my subscription roll over.  I enjoy the single player version of it more than the MMO part, but I can play a single player RPG w/o having to pay a monthly fee.  And I just haven't been feeling very "gamey" lately.  If my pressence is needed in WoW, I can play consistently, just let me know.

did a few more instances over the weekend.....they are all pretty bugged.  And most of them seem to just be tank and spanks.  The single player has been great...but as oak says...thats not worth a monthly subscription....hopefully it will pick up though....if not...there is always cod4

As far as my wow leveling goes, it might be a while before i get back online.. My high speed notebook screen just shit the bed and half the screen is dead. Now the damn thing would work perfect if i had an external monitor but its not worth me buying one here for that.. SO I went and got a new system...

Yea no worries.  I will keep you posted.  I remember a certain blizzard game that didn't pick up until world pvp was possible....as well as endgame 5 mans.  Then it all died off and got mega linear!!!!     No challenge anymore....blizzard keeps nerfing crap until 25 nine year olds can do it all blindfolded!
