I heard news of a whole new patch with a bundle of new maps. I didn't know of a date I will check it out and report. Edit: Indeed there is a new patch with maps http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/callofduty4modernwarfare/patch/24267.html Kinda odd that it isnt on infinitywards page but meh. Now the question is; the official release isn't until tomorrow so do we install the new patch for the match or keep 1.5? And if we do update our clients we will need to update the server too. |

From TWL rules
-Patches/Updates:
Due to the conditions outside of the control of TWL, there are many players who are forced to update their game and/or server. TWL recognizes this issue, and because of it, has modified the rules governing Patching/Updating.
Any official updates will be instantly approved for any sanctioned matches. Updates to any mod MUST be released by TWL in order to be official for matches.
* Official updates are defined as:
* Game Updates released by Infinity Ward
* Punkbuster Updates released by Evenbalance
* Config files released by TWL
* Mod Files released by TWL.
In the event that player(s) are updated and server(s) are not, TWL will recognize an update period of no more than 3 days after release. This means, from the time an update is released, all players and servers must have the update installed. During this time, rescheduling matches based on player(s) or server(s) not having current updates is acceptible and encouraged.
From an adim:
As stated above, some players are forced to update, some server hosts force updates, while others an update at their convience.
its up to yo uto discuss in comms whether to play on 1.5 or 1.6. If no agreement can be reached, just reschedule. Forfeit will not be awarded for players having the wrong version until after the 3 day grace period.

Server is updated to 1.6. So we'll either be matching tomorrow or put off the match until the weekend.

I know I am just sorta a practice player because of school and what not, but if you all want to me to register for matches for oh shit situations and what not just tell me where to go and what to do.

So Until my Laptop screen died i was online playing COD4 getting ready for when i get back.. No worries I just ordered a new monster system fully loaded with the best of everything. SO in about two week ill be back to it. Matt im comming for you brotha  |
