You guys remember UTCup ?
I made this event last year on irc.utchat.com aka irc.globalgamers.net
I organized a day in which people could participate in 4 different events for their chance to win one of 4 copies of UT3. The events were fun and people really enjoyed themselves, which is important.
I've decided to do UTCupII
This year we have 10 prizes to give away: 8 copies of UT3 and 2 copies of UT anthology (who knows I might get other prizes too). The events will be bigger - I'm considering hosting a UT99 and UT2k4 1v1 tournament as one of the events. I already have the game servers ready, some in North America, and some in Europe to accommodate the gamers as much as possible, ping-wise.
I'm also open to suggestions. I haven't fully finalized the events, so if you have any suggestions, let me know! Please try to keep it UT oriented though, hence the prizes, hence the name of the event itself
(Example; last UTCup this one event consisted of a Team DeathMatch. Me vs everybody. Whoever got the most frags on me, won a copy of UT3 - that event was a crowd pleaser - I might do it again this year.)
