I'd like to try to finish this run either tonight (Friday) or tomorrow (Saturday) if at all possible. Its been awhile since we've gotten this far, I'd hate to waste it. That being said, here are some links for everyone to take a peek at. Even those of us who have been there should reread strats and such, its been a long time. Hexlord Malacrass - http://www.wowwiki.com/Hex_Lord_MalacrassZul'Jin - http://www.wowwiki.com/Zul%27jin_%28tactics%29For the Hexlord fight, everyone should have some shadow resist gear, 2-3 pieces would be great. The shadow resist glyph is easy to get and can be put on any head piece, I'd advise to buy a cheapy green one (... of shadow protection if possible) to throw it on and keep it for future use unless you have something better to put it on. The Pendant of Shadow's End is a really nice piece for shadow resist as well, its an Aldor JC recipe, if you can find someone who has it, please let others know. Glyph of Shadow Warding - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29199Pendant of Shadow's End - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24097I will make some Chromatic Wonder Flasks and a couple of Cauldrons of Shadow Protection as well, if anyone can help with some mats, its always appreciated. Flask of Chromatic Wonder - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33208Cauldron of Major Shadow Protection - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32852

Also, I think there are some shadow protection pots in the guild bank, so check there before you go crazy with them I should be on both nights, but probably after 9 pm, so don't wait up for me if you've got the people.

I will not be on tonight as I will be with my special lady. I probably won't be on Saturday either, but that one's less certain.
Hex Lord's a beast just dealing with his aoe shadow damage. Throw in all his stolen class abilities and he's incredibly difficult. I strongly suggest you have 2 Shaman healing + 1 Paladin/Druid/Priest healing. Chain Heal is very good for this fight. A Rogue would also be useful to help with interrupts. I'm not sure if the mind numbing and -healing poisons work on him.
If everyone goes in with 0 shadow resist gear, you cannot kill him. That much is certain. Try to drop the gear that gives you the least benefit to get shadow resist gear. The pendant goes a long way, just add another piece or two of gear and use Flask of Chromatic Wonder + Priest's shadow resist.
If you have a Paladin, have them use Concentration Aura in the healing group to help heal through the shadow aoe. Aim for killing 2 adds and CC 2 permenantly. If you CC all 4, they'll be too much trouble to keep under control. If you kill all 4, the boss will have too long to beat on you before you attack him. The adds are random like the third bos of Magisters', but they do obey regular agro rules and can be taunted.

From a healer's perspective, Chain Heal + Circle of Healing own this fight. Also, when I druid heal this fight, when Bigwigs announces 5 seconds until the spirit bolts, I quit healing the tanks and switch to lifeblooming all of the healers (myself included) through the spirit bolts. Click healer 1, LB, click healer 2, LB, click healer 3, LB, rinse repeat through the bolts. Then I switch back to the tanks near the end. Concentration Aura is a must have for the shaman healer. Don't forget druids can sleep the Beast adds. I've never done this fight without CC'ing all the adds. If everyone goes in with 0 shadow resist gear, you cannot kill him. I've never worn shadow resist gear for this fight. Melee be careful with your positioning, don't get trapped when he's a hunter. Interrupt the heals, etc. Decursers/CCers do your job, healers heal through the damage, and this fight is cake.

You didn't have my crappy Shaman healing though, and our Priest didn't have Circle of Healing.

Sure, I like to keep up with you guys. I miss LaG and Zuluhed every once in awhile. =p
As you can tell, though, I don't read them as often as I would like, otherwise I would replied to this one earlier.
So yeah, CoH is amazing for priests in ZA. It scales amazingly, so CoH spec isn't great if you're just gearing up, but if you've got some of your upgrades from SSC/TK, you're good to go.

Hey oak there is a great vidwo n youtube that is labled "Timed ZA" i think. It shows every pull, every boss fight, it speeds up during the traviling but slows down a bit for the boss fights.. you all should look that up and watch it.. ITs a wounderful video and might give everyone a better picture on whats going on in the fights.

Last time, we got Bear + Eagle down with 5 minutes left (before added time for killing Eagle), but clearing to & killing Lynx takes quite a while. Maybe if we have 6 dps all with >1000 dps and 2 really good healers (i.e. not me), we might be able to manage timed chests. But I think we used 3 healers last time, and both tanks died on Bear boss - still killed him though.

If you're going to attempt a bear run I would suggest having a paladin MT and probably a druid OT and then having everybody flask. Putting on SR is a waste imo i've never seen it done before it would probably gimp your dps too much to be worthwhile. You shouldn't have to worry about SR until mother in BT. The order for a complete chest run is Eagle, Bear, Dragonhawk, Lynx. If you know how theres a shortcut around several packs of mobs when attempting lynx that can save a lot of time. All I can really explain is it involves jumping through the windows of buildings, you can probably look it up.

/agree with everything you said. I've looked up a lot of strats and most common kill order for timed run is Eagle > Bear > Dragonhawk > Lynx. I'm not sure if we actually have a solid Druid Off tank in the guild, not counting Siddin since he would probably be on his pally.

Stanzx, after LaG moves from these forums, I would like to imagine that we could run about the wasteland of broken dreams, disturbing the perpetual dust in our jubilation and revelry. As we trek on and on we'll find oasis we've always been looking for and away from the prying eyes of man and beast and even God himself, we'll be home.
