I think D2 would still be a great game if it had better graphics and you could change skills without making a whole new character.

I was extremely pleased to see that Diablo III has finally been announced. Back in the day I used to play this game all the time like I do with WoW now - from what I recall I had a 88 magic find sorc, 89 or so amazon, and a 60-70 paladin. Cow runs were the best thing in the game until the huge patch 1.10 came out which changed diablo II forever (basically a giant NERF for cow runs, and getting experience was so much harder).

Yeah, getting 2-shot for -10% xp was rather annoying.

I've only played a few minutes of the predescessors. But I'm really interested in the third installment. It looks like a ton of fun!
