As many of you guys know... and the rest can find out by
looking at our calendar... we're about to have a birthday! This will mark us moving into our 9th year of playing games together! Go us!
As part of celebrating the new year I have been at work for the past couple of months getting some new things in order. They have gone slower than I would have preferred, but I'm ready to start announcing the ones which are ready. Namely... our new forums.
http://www.laggaming.com/phpbb/The new forums run on new software and should provide some really, really nice and much needed options to our team managers. As long as we were all playing the same game the current forums were ok, but with us playing multiple games there are some things our current forums simply won't do. So we're upgrading!
The following must happen ASAP:
- EVERYONE - Go register at the new boards and get your profile set up
- TEAM MANAGERS - Start checking every day and getting your folks set up in their appropriate groups
- EVERYONE - Start moving old discussions over and starting new discussions on the new boards
I'm giving us plenty of time to get this done, so we will keep the current boards active for the entire month of July. After that, we're in penalty time and they may be disabled at any point. So let's get to moving!
I will continue to work on the new site and hopefully we can get everything in place in the very near future.
If you have ANY questions or comments, this is the place to post them. I will be posting a link to this post on every board on the current forums and making it sticky, so no excuses!
